Hey Sam really nice to see you round here again.
I was listening to some on your work on my Mp3 player the other day and it was great to be reminded of your originality.
As is a lot if not all of your work this is really unpredictable and the lyrics are just out of any form of cliché. The guitar itself is very nice sounding and has great timing. Your voice is as deep as ever and convincing. I love the line “Yeah, I’m sure to be home – SURE to be home – for the sake of being on time and for the sake of my friends.” Full of excellent hooks.
Weird panning at the end though?

the vocals are perfect. the panning is a little odd at the end, i agree with shut.

Cool song ... I like the guitar a lot. The vocals are good, but I think the distorted effect thing on them is a bit much.
I liked the ending, but the high pitched sound at the beginning kinda bothered me.

Great songwriting!!!! Quite ominous. The vocal melody is cool. I might mix this a bit differently though. Maybe bring the vocals down a bit and play with the EQ. Other than that, I really enjoyed it.

Is it wrong for me to hope that you never really "make it big", out of fear that success might homogenize your work in the same tragic manner as the fate which befell Beck Hanson?
Yeah, I thought that might sound selfish. I'm glad I didn't mention it.
